Ren este cel de-al doilea companion al lui Ai, care de obicei ia forma unui tânăr. Acesta se poate transforma şi într-un ochi imens care îi conferă abilitatea de a vedea prin clădiri, proiectănd ochiul pe pereţi sau tavan. Ochiul poate fi de asemenea folosit ca o armă, acesta proiectând lumina intensă. La nevoie, Ren se transformă într-o păpuşă albastră de paie, prin sărutarea pandantivului pe care îl poartă la gât.
